Who Are You
Hurting?
by Fetish1
If you
are reading this article then kudos to you. It means you are taking the time to
research information here at Adult NetSurprise, so obviously you want to grow
and progress in this business! I am a firm believer that knowledge is power so
I too read up on as much as I can, but is that enough?
You can read the
message boards too - but do you really benefit to the fullest extent from just
reading them? I honestly don't think so. What happens when someone mentions
something in a post that you aren't exactly clear on? If you don't post and ask
for an explanation or pose a question, you are left out on a limb. Who are you
hurting at that point? Only yourself.
Those of you who have never
participated on a board may not even realize the long term, greater benefits of
board participation. Name recognition goes a long way folks! We all like to
work with people we know, and we will tend to go the extra mile to help out
someone we feel comfortable with, not just a fly-by poster that wants an answer
and bails.
When I started posting on boards, the people were kind and
responded to my questions. I was appreciative and thought it was kind of cool
that competitors helped each other out. Then I stuck around and WOW - people
who used to respond with a few sentences now wrote me well thought out,
detailed paragraphs, or emailed me directly with a page of info on my question.
Some posts would say, "if you need more info just drop me an email".
I've had people call me long distance and talk for literally hours about
business. I've spent many an hour in ICQ conversations bouncing ideas around -
and why? Is it because I am extra special? NOPE. Because of my great
personality? Nope! I am probably one of the most blunt, opinionated
personalities on the ANS Newbie Board. It's plain and simply this: I posted, I
interacted and people got to know who they are dealing with so to speak.
If you are serious about this business - and you want to make it; if
you want the tools to help you be the best you can be at this, visit and get
active with a message board. We laugh, we learn, we discuss and we share...how
tough a trade off is that for a simple "Hi I'm Me" post. We'll make you comfy
once you get there; you just have to post for us to know you're around!
